Rescue Alarm on I695 with rollover and 1 ejected

Tuesday, May 4, 2010  Rescue Alarm 36-62, Engine 361 and Ambulance 365 were alerted for a single vehicle accident with rollover on I695 inner loop between Washington Blvd & Hollinsferry Rd. E361 arrived first and corrected the location to outerloop finding one patient laying out along side the vehicle on the beltway and a second patient still laying inside. Along with units from Halethorpe (Sta 5), Arbutus (Sta 35) and Catonsville (Sta 4) the 2nd patient was freed and both patients were transported to area Trauma Centers.

"The Hammondsferry Express" takes the well off Auto fire!

Monday, May 3, 2010  Engine 361 AKA "The Hammondsferrry Express" Handles the fully involved Auto this morning at Hollinsferry Rd and Regis Ct. The Engine arrived with a single car fully involved and quickly went to work.  The Engine crew after hearing of suspicious activity called FID whom is currently investigating.

     

 

More action in AACo

Friday, April 30, 2010  More action in AACo.  First with mutual aid to beltway for PI, then on to station 32 for the transfer, then back to the beltway, but this time Company 36 double pulls with one from home and one from transfer station to handle a multi care wreck along with 36's IV unit.

     

 

LVFD Responds to the Double Stabbing

Sunday, April 25, 2010 12:25 am Engine 361 and Medic 365 responds for the report of multiple subjects stabbed in the 300 blk of Third Ave. Units arrived to find 2 subjects stabbed, Lansdowne treated and transported to local trauma centers and cleared.

Saturday, April 24, 2010  The Lansdowne VFD would like to thank all of you for your continued support and especially those of you whom bought tickets to our Spring Dance to help raise funds to kick off our "New Building Fund Drive"

Our dance proved to be a success thanks to those in attendance, we would like to publicly thanks those Elected Officials whom supported  the LVFD and were in attendance last night. Those recognized in attendance are listed below...

Several Acres off at Southwest Area Park

Wednesday, April 7, 2010 00:36 Engine's 361/362 responds for report of a "Brush Fire" with units from our neighboring station, Company 37. On arrival Lt. Burford assumed the SWAP PARK Command and quickly called for additional resources. Units from Halethorpe and Catonsville as well as Baltimore City E-58 also put time in at the scene. Fire was held to 5 acres with a quick knock down thanks to all. Units cleared at 0400.

Honorable mention goes to Chaffeur R. Gill for sinking the engine in the mud  and needing a tow out!! When all was said and done it cost Lansdowne VFD $300.00 for towing expenses.

Thursday, March 11, 2010 16:00 E361 rolls out for the tow truck fire at the gas station.  Quick knock and quick thinking  by truck operator to move vehicle away from gas pumps.

E362 Responds on the 5-12 Box

Sunday, February 28, 2010  EnGINE 362 responds for the report of a Dwelling fire at Deer Run Ct, Box Alarm 5-12

Units from Co. 5 arrive with light smoke on the interior and fire showing from the chimney of a 3 story Condo. Units on scene held with a fire contained to the chimney itself.


   
 

Engine 362 provides the RIT FOR THE 35-7 Dwelling Fire

Saturday, February 27, 2010 1216 E 362 responds to the report of the Dwelling Fire at 4100 Blk Leeds Ave with units on scene advising "Heavy Fire" showing from the rear of  the dwelling. Engine 362 being the 4th Engine on the assignment  provided the RIT while crews from Comapny 5 and 35 brought the fire under control.
